Fancy a pint?

As I explore the north east’s luxury real estate, I inevitably come across a broad spectrum of rooms set up as bars. The type and tone of the bar are generally in keeping with the type and tone of the homeowner - new money folk maintain the modern, cocktail bar type of space with contemporary furnishings and wall art usually representing their specific success. The older clientele prefer a traditional pub look with wooden cladding, real ale taps, and decor devoted to signed shirts of their particular footie team. The proper working-class ones will always have a man-shed with a TV at one end and an electric heater somewhere in there. Below is a geet-big slideshow with some of the best examples. Later in the month, I’ll probably do another post about cinema rooms. Enjoy!
